Praying through the night.

Shelby has now left us and we miss her so. The days go past so fast as we enjoy our life here.

The first Sunday I went to a church with Shelby and in that service they announced that they had prayer through the whole night every other Friday. Ever since I heard about this, I wanted to go but I have missed them all. So when it was on this last Friday, I was determined to go even though we came back from Cahul that day.

So I called Julia who was going. She said that she couldn’t go because she was working on the next day. I told her that I could go on my own. She didn’t know how to explain were it was, since it was outside Chisinau. "Too bad," I thought and we hung up. A few minutes later she called again and said that she changed her mind because of my eagerness to go.
I dropped off my bag from the trip at the house and bought dinner on the way to our meeting place. When we met, we took first a cab and then a bus to the village. When we arrived, we ate and then talked for two hours. At 11pm we started to sing and at midnight we studied Psalm 26. At 2am we started to pray for our families and the church. We ate some more and continued to pray until 7am. After that, we slept two hours, ate breakfast and then took the bus home.
Such an experience. Five wonderful ladies, young and old, with a heart for intercession and most of all for God! I felt so blessed to share the night with them even though there were a lot of things I didn’t understand. The love of God speaks all languages!

Adriana was a bit cold.

A happy and slightly tired Kristin after a whole night prayer meeting.
